Greg and Emily Snider were avidly involved with their churches as teenagers and felt the call to ministry from a young age. Radical Obedience began in 2009, when Greg felt the call to full-time ministry. With Emily working as a full-time Children's Pastor, they took a leap of faith and Greg started traveling with Radical Obedience speaking at several youth camps, retreats, and skateboarding events. In 2012, Greg was hired as a full-time youth pastor at the same church as Emily. They have enjoyed working together to synchronize youth & children's ministries. Seeing something unique in this, they decided to renovate Radical Obedience to be a minstry dedicated to serving both children & youth, as well as training others in what they have learned and experienced. Greg and Emily are both credentialed with the International Fellowship of Christian Assemblies (IFCA).
Greg has been working with youth since he was a teen himself. He founded Radical Obedience Ministries in 2009, speaking and using skateboarding to reach youth around the country. He has been active in youth leadership since 2005, being credentialed as a youth pastor in 2012. He continues to speak at various youth camps, retreats, and events.
Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Wayne state University and a certificate in Children’s Ministry through Valley Forge Christian College. She has been serving as a Children’s Pastor since 2006. Emily also serves as an Ambassador for Group Publishing. She has been a contributing author with K! Magazine and Children’s Ministry Magazine, as well as the Group Publishing books “Kids Travel Guide to the Beatitudes” and "13 Most Important Lessons for Kids About Loving Each Other." While Emily’s first passion is children’s ministry, she loves serving alongside her husband as a youth pastor’s wife.
